DESIGN and MATERIALS

NEO’s materiality, colours and views are distinctly Mediterranean. The feminine towers, with their curved silhouettes, gently flairup to staggered terraces which form their elegant crowns. Curved profiles and seemingly invisible columns give the impression that NEO is a series of floating plates, while warm earthy materials including wooden ceilings, terracotta fins and delicate railings soften the tower façades.

The NEO design philosophy centres on the INSIDE/OUT, anchored by the finest materials, innovative design and unique offering. Woods Bagot’s design approach was to create an exceptional lifestyle-led hub punctuated by ‘villas in the sky’ that capture the essence of the unique location.

The towers’ innovative curved design provides apartments with multi aspect views, the soft rounded cornersmaximising each apartment’s unique vista.

Gracious cantilever terraces frame each residence’s views while providing necessary shade to enjoy an outdoor lifestyle of relaxing and entertaining. The terracotta baguettes, inspired by the natural Cypriot environment, form a crown around the top of each tower, appearing as if to disappear elegantly into the sky. This approach also protects the views of the apartments at the top of each tower, a key detail for those wanting an unspoilt panorama from the penthouse.

The fins create carefullyconcentrated sunshades to ensure the optimum internal climate for living and sleeping. Their structural design ensures the views are uninterrupted at each aspect but create a sense of privacy when out on the verandas.

SPACE and FLOW

Optimal linear living spaces have been created through a pinwheel design. The curvature of the towers is achieved through deep terraces which provide expansive outdoor living area and cantilever shading. The design is highly logical for furnishing and provides ideal flow of living space. It optimises views and ensures total privacy. It creates villas in the sky.

LANDSCAPING

Landscape and garden designer Andy Sturgeon designed a green masterplan, working with a palette of refined materials and colors to create spaces that have distinct and unique characters. From richly-planted exotic gardens to outdoor dining, dappled shade is created by fruit trees, and scented herb plants add to the sensorial experience. For the bustling energy of the plaza, the backdrop borrows from the surrounding coastal environment, with native pines, juniper, rosemary and sage contrasted yet complemented by limestone, basalt and granite in a variety of rich, warm colours.
